In this difficult economic climate, it’s important to find ways to make every dollar count. Thanks to a challenge grant from the Noyce Family Foundation, we have the opportunity to multiply the gift of every person who invests in us.
Continuing nearly 10 years of philanthropic support for our organization, the Noyce Foundation has presented us with a challenge: if we secure $4.5 million over two years, they will award us an additional $1.5 million. We’re thrilled to use this generosity to energize and engage additional partners to ensure educational equity across the country. We will use the financial support to continue recruiting and training aspiring school leaders and supporting them in their crucial first years on the job.
Every donation made prior to July 1, 2012 is eligible to be matched by up to a third – broadening the impact of our supporters. Tax-deductible donations will help New Leaders ensure high academic achievement for all children, especially students in poverty and students of color, by developing transformational school leaders and advancing the policies and practices that allow great leaders to succeed.
