At Power Center, which is in New Direction Christian Church at 6122 Winchester, students progressed more than at any public school in the state last year.
With a focus on business, entrepreneurship and technology, sixth-graders at Power Center learn finance, partly through a student-run bank school leaders created with community partner SunTrust Bank.
