12 URBAN AREAS
We run our leadership training programs in 12 urban areas nationwide. We also provide our leadership services to partner school systems in these cities and for select other clients.
Bay Area
Since 2001, we have trained 75 exceptional New Leaders who are transforming high-need schools in the Bay Area.
Charlotte
New Leaders launched in Charlotte in 2008. Over the course of three short years, our leaders have garnered some impressive initial results with their students.
Chicago
Since launching the program in 2001, we are now the largest provider of principal talent for Chicago Public Schools.
Greater New Orleans
Thirty-five New Leaders currently serve more than 12,000 students in Orleans Parish and Jefferson Parish.
Maryland
Our program began in Baltimore City in 2005 and expanded into Prince George’s County in 2007.
Memphis
We began partnering with Memphis City Schools in 2004. Today New Leaders serve more than 36,000 students, representing about 20 percent of the schools in the district.
New York City
One of our original cities, our New York City program has grown to a community of approximately 125 New Leaders.
Newark
We are excited to partner with Newark Public Schools in piloting our leadership training programs during the 2011-2012 school year.
Washington, D.C.
Since 2003, we have helped create transformational impact for public district and charter schools in D.C.
