Check Eligibility

The first step in our Admissions Process is to check if you are eligible.

Work on it in the Application Portal.

A Big commitment

It takes a special person to become a New Leader.

We are careful to only select those who show the greatest potential for becoming a transformational school leader.

The Aspiring Principals Program is a six-year commitment in most locations.

Out of hundreds of applicants, only a small cohort of leaders is chosen to participate.

You will work in and transform an underperforming school.

It's a big commitment, but also a big opportunity, to make a difference in hundreds of students' futures.

Executive Resume

The following section will guide you in submitting a concise, executive-style resume highlighting the measurable results and accomplishments you have achieved throughout your career. It is strongly recommended that you use the Executive-style Resume Evidence Capture Tool to complete this section.  Then, copy and paste your responses into the appropriate fields below.  Using this tool allows you to save your progress as you complete this section and provides a convenient way to retain a copy of your responses following submission.

Please Note: If you are eligible, you will not be able to later view/edit your responses from this section in the application portal, nor will New Leaders for New Schools be able to send you a copy. It is therefore strongly recommended you save a copy of this section using the Evidence Capture Tool described above or a Word document.  Because the executive-style resume captures only targeted information for up to four current and/or past professional experiences, however, you will have the option of submitting a full resume in the application portal to provide a complete picture of your work history, skills and qualifications.
